Social enterprise development is one of the key elements of the social inclusion policy produced by the government. Social enterprises are operated on the same basis as a normal commercial business.
The objective is to make a profit. However, the main difference between a commercial company and a social enterprise is that the latter are formed to not only make profit but fulfil social obligations such as generating employment and training for disadvantaged groups.
MHC Social Enterprises Ltd currently operate two enterprises very successfully and have a number of other projects in the development stage. As these new enterprises become live they will be added to this website so keep checking back!
